The biggest room in the world is room for improvement.

A note from our CEO
I've been in a variety of workplace scenarios. The extremes are the following two situations. In the first situation, people were sitting or sleeping in their cars until the last possible second, so that they don't have to spend any extra time in their work place. In the second situation, morale was so optimal that a large portion of the group regularly needed to be forced to go home at the end of a workday, and many would show up on off days to do accomplish additional tasks. These two groups had strikingly similar structures, goals, and metrics. Needless to say, I turned down multiple opportunities to go to the former organization and spent years in the latter.
Employees who feel appreciated do great work. Employees who do great work recognize where improvements can be made. Organizations with receptive leadership make employees feel motivated and exhilarated. Observing the cycle is euphoric.
A quick internet search for "efficient animal" will suggest that the jellyfish is the most efficient animal. Articles will go on to talk about efficient locomotion and low energy expended for a high return, which sounds fantastic. A follow on search for "resilient animal" is sure to provide you with information about camels. Camels can survive for months without food or water (income), which sounds fantastic also.
High returns and long term survivability sound great, but many attributes of these two animals are mutually exclusive. Luckily we aren't choosing what type of animals that we wish to be. Both efficiency and resilience are vital for long term survival, but a successful company thrives. Keeping with the same premise, an internet search for "thriving animals" produced results that contain one common word, adapt.
Today's models, policies, and procedures will not always be correct for you. Adaptation to current and future conditions is crucial for success. Unless it is coming from a two year old child who is stuck on repeat, "why" is one of the greatest words in the English language. The kryptonite contained in an organization is a culture is discovered when "Why?" is answered by "That's the way we've always done it."
Give us a call. Let's find out "why" and make your organization better.
